Prior to meeting with them we felt the building process was stressful and was never going to happen for us. They key is how they are handled. We have been in our new home now for several weeks and any minor glitches have still been addressed very quickly by Andy and Angie. After meeting with a few other builders and not feeling like they were a good fit for us, we met with John Michael Homes and instantly knew they were the builder for us. They use a system called Buildertrend which allowed us to see multiple items such as estimates, costs, building pictures, a schedule outline and a message board to discuss items as they arose. The vendors that they sent us to for selections were also very easy to work with and helped us integrate our design ideas into our choices. We selected John Michael Homes as our builder for our house in Cambridge, Wisconsin based on good reviews but mostly on a face-to-face meeting with Andy Weber and his associate Angie Kober at their office in Johnson Creek. Andy was very thorough in explaining the process of new construction but eager to understand all of our needs and what we expected in a home. The fact that he listened carefully to what we wanted and then used his expertise to suggest cost effective processes and selections gave us a very good feeling about the way he conducts his business. Having built before, we had very specific ideas on what we wanted. Andy and Angie work in an open book environment and utilized an app to keep us up to date.
